How to empty your browser cache — IE for Windows

To empty the cache using Internet Explorer for Windows:

- From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
- Under the General tab, find Temporary Internet files.
- Click Delete Files.
- Check the Delete Files box.
- Click OK twice.
- This will delete everything in your cache.

To have the cache automatically emptied using Internet Explorer for Windows:

- From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to the Security section.
- Check Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed.
- Click Apply and then click OK.
- Your browser will delete the cache automatically.

To empty the cache using Internet Explorer 7:
|
- Go to Tools
- Select Internet Options
- Go to General Tab: Browsing History section
- Click Delete
- Select Delete Files for Temporary Internet Files
- Select Delete Files for History
