To use the Internet Explorer pop-up blocker for Windows

To turn the pop-up blocker on or off:

  • From the Tools menu, select Pop-up Blocker.
  • Click Turn On/Off Pop-up Blocker.

To change the pop-up blocker settings:

  • From the Tools menu, select Pop-up Blocker.
  • Click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
  • To add specific sites to your trusted list, type in the address in the field labeled Address of Web site to allow. To add the TD AMERITRADE site, type in wwws.ameritrade.com

For Internet Explorer 7:

  • Go to Tools
  • Select Pop-up Blocker
  • Select Pop-up Blocker Settings
  • In Address of website to allow, enter wwws.ameritrade.com

To temporarily allow pop-up windows:

  • Click the Pop-up Blocked toolbar that is displayed whenever a pop-up is blocked.
  • Click Temporarily Allow Pop-ups.
